As well as recognising those who have been promoting Gaelic for years, this award is also open to those who may have broken new ground.

To recognise those who have created the best Gaelic content online. In line with the aims of the National Gaelic Language Plan, this encourages the normalisation of Gaelic and we would like to celebrate those people who are creating content in an engaging way across social media platforms.

For the individual, team, production company or programme that has contributed significantly towards the world of media through the medium of Gaelic in 2022 either locally, nationally or internationally.

For the group, organisation, community or school that has done most to utilise and promote Gaelic within its community.

This can be marked through turnover, attributable and measurable, associated with the use of Gaelic as an asset to add economic value. The award recognises a wide range of initiatives from the creative industries, food and drink, tourism and commercial provision.

For the individual, team, group or organisation that has created the best opportunities for Gaelic to be incorporated in sport.

For an outstanding young person (under 25) who has made a significant contribution to the promotion of the Gaelic language in 2022.
